Also this weekend, we bring you a conversation with Avatar director James Cameron and his friend and fellow Canadian, deep-sea explorer Joe MacGinnis, who talk about their mutual love of exploring the ocean’s deepest depths. This summer, Deepsea Challenger, the submersible that Cameron used to descend 11 kilometres to the world’s deepest place, is on display at the Royal Canadian Geographical Society’s HQ in Ottawa.
